Monday Mural: more depressed birds

This is the last image I'm posting from the huge Fruitvale mural I've been showing you.  Doty's birds interweave with Cannon Dill's organic swirls and Polka's color embellishments.  The entire mural is quite something to see.

If you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme's for you.  Just follow the Linky steps below.  You get to decide what constitutes a mural.  Once you start looking, you find them everywhere.  Be sure to link back to this blog and to visit your fellow posters.  Looking forward to the mural finds posted this week.

  4. Fantastic birds! This is the same artist I found similarities with ROA, right?

  5. Fantastic mural. It must have been tough painting on corrugated metal.

  6. An attractive effect with the corrugated surface and the colours contrasting with the grey tones.
    Thanks for hosting!

  7. A great mural, the birds are painted so wonderful and that all on the metal basis.

  8. You're right, they do look depressed. Still wonderfully drawn, though. At least there's lots of bright colors to add some cheer.

  10. I think the birds look wise and knowing something maybe we don't instead of depressed. Great contrast with the bold splashes of color. I really like this artist's works.

  13. But WHY are the birds depressed? Is it Oakland, is it California or maybe just the artist himself?
